Today, I gave my students an information sheet as a warmup. This student definitely had one of the more interesting answers for her future after high school....
I did have a couple of kids ask me if I actually read their answers and when I replied "yes", they seemed rather surprised. Makes me wonder how often they turn in work and the teacher doesn't bother to look at it...
It amazes (and frightens me) the number of students who think the work I have them do on the first day is just to kill time. Makes me wonder what the rest of their day is actually like. Then I get sad.

I am always amazed as well when kids ask if I read their answers and they are surprised. I would love to see what the rest of your sheet looks like! :-)
